Background
My role as a therapist is to create a safe and supportive space where you can slow down, explore emotions and thoughts, and safely engage with parts of your life that may feel too overwhelming or unsafe to address outside of therapy. Together, we work to understand what is contributing to your difficulties and to identify tools and changes that support long-term well-being.
I am Italian and German by birth and completed both of my Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and Intercultural Psychology, as well as my PhD in Clinical Psychology, in Brussels, Belgium. Alongside my clinical work, I am also a researcher working within Region Hovedstaden, where I focus on family mental illness.
What Can I Help You With?
I offer individual, couple, and family therapy and can help you if you are experiencing:
- Burnout and work-related stress
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Identity crises and existential questions
- Cultural or intercultural challenges
- Relationship difficulties
- Family-related challenges
My Therapeutic Approach
I work primarily from a systemic therapy perspective, meaning that I look not only at the individual, but also at the broader context and relationships that may contribute to distress. This includes family dynamics, work environments, cultural factors, and life circumstances.
In addition, I integrate tools from acceptance and commitment therapy to provide concrete, practical strategies for managing difficult thoughts and emotions. My goal is to help you develop tools that fit you, while also identifying meaningful ways to adjust or navigate your environment in order to support lasting change.
